The Future of Online Measurement – Interviews at Social Fresh Tampa

February 10 2010 by ~ 5 Comments

On Monday I attended Social Fresh in Tampa. Social Fresh events take place in various markets across the country and focus on bringing together smart marketers to talk about the business of social media. I had a great time at the event and took some notes, which you can see here.

Social media is clearly changing the way businesses operate. One challenge is how you measure your efforts, what people are saying about you and the value of your customers who are engaged with you on various social networks/communities.

I was able to do a couple video interviews with some smart folks to ask them to share their thoughts on how online metrics and measurement will change over the next few years. Please see below for the videos.

Marc, Jeremy, Chris Moody and Chris Barger–thanks so much for sharing your thoughts! Follow these guys on Twitter if you’d like to learn more about them:

  • Marc Meyer – Principle and Director of Search and Social Media and Digital Response Marketing Group
  • Chris Barger – Director of Social Media at General Motors
  • Jeremy Hilton – VP of Media and Technology at Mindcomet
  • Chris Moody – Manager of Social Media Marketing at Bandwidth

How do YOU think online measurement will change in the near future.
