While most of the people reading this post are probably pretty well versed in social media, this audience is significantly in the minority. Pam Moore recently wrote 25 Tips for Teaching Social Media 101 Class where she discusses the necessities for conveying social media information to an audience. This information may seem elementary from your perspective, but what about the people you work with? In an ever-changing media and marketing environment, people need to be brought up to speed quickly so they don’t lose any ground in a competitive market.

In Pam’s blog she outlines 25 different tips, with these three tips being the most important:

1.) Know your audience

2.) Prepare

3.) Set objectives

While Pam thinks these are the most important things to make sure you do when you teach social media, what are the things you do to make sure you effectively teach social media to your peers? Are their any tips that you would add?
