How Do You Bring People To Your Community?

After watching David Garland on a recent episode of The Rise to the Top, it got me to thinking about one of the most talked about subjects in social media.  How do you get people interested in your product or what you have to say?

Generating credibility online is one of the toughest tasks any business person or entrepreneur has to face.  What are some of the tactics you or your company use to bring in people to your site or product?

On David’s show he asks his guest Anita Campbell about several different topics.  The one topic that really stood out in my mind was the “do it yourself marketing” concept.  These days, many consumers want to have more and more control over their purchasing decisions and the overall consumer experience.  How are companies today using social media and online communities to market to the “do it yourself” consumer?

We’d love to hear about your thoughts and experiences!
